Company Profile

Steve Lawrence began electrical work as S M Lawrence Electrical Installations back in 1988.
He has qualifications in electrical installation, air conditioning, commercial water softening and solar energy installation. The company was formed back in 1988.
Previously, he specialised in boiler room installation, air conditioning controls and Building Management Systems.

Steve Lawrence Design & Build has completed extensive projects for British Aerospace ( Hatfield), the BBC (Yalding House), The Royal Courts of Justice (The Strand), London City Airport, KPMG (Colchester and Watford), J Sainsbury, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals (Sandwich), Smith Kline Beecham (Harlow), Carphone Warehouse (various sites), Tempo Stores (various sites), HM Customs (Gt. Yarmouth, Leeds and Felixstowe), The Royal Opera House, Gerald McDonald Spice Company (Basildon), Queen Mary College (Mile End) BAe systems (Portsmouth), London Fire Brigade, Mowlems, The Passport Office (Peterborough), HSBC, (various sites) together with various other projects.

In the year 2000, experience was gained in suspended ceilings in Croydon and shop fitting in South Woodford. Later loft conversions, garage conversions, extensions, garden rooms, fitted kitchens, bathrooms and other projects were added to the range of services offered locally.

Steve Lawrence Design and Build is a dedicated family business and a father and son team. In 2012 they are excited to add Solar Energy Installations to their range of services.
